An aural composition
& performance workshop.

To make this piece of music, the class created and learned a series of graphic symbols on coloured card. Three young conductors made choices about when to bring in the different sound-groups within their orchestra of seven- and eight-year-old pupils. This was the end of a workshop that took place over one whole school day. The entire primary school performed the piece during a school festival; the performance and conducting lead entirely by pupils of seven years old.
