This album was written over 10 days in a Madrid rehearsal studio while Oliver lived in the city and Keir came for a month. Ben Handysides approached the band asking to join on drums and the set was realised in London, though a series of performances and a studio recording: achieved  through live takes as a trio (as with much Jazz)
and recorded over 4 days.

Artists Dickon Knowles and David Trevail created two video responses to the music, Dickon filming a story for 24 Note Waltz and David offering a video/animation for Duodecimal.

of Keir Cooper & Olly Sellwood.

Keir is an award-winning artist working in composition for guitar+electronics and live art. Oliver (5**** Knifeworld, Guardian) is a composer and saxophonist, completing a PhD with Matthew Shlomowitz & Michael Finnissy. Together they share a musical vocabulary sharpened over two decades.
