Bearing wings made of sharp knives and shooting fireballs into the air, HEARTY tackles the current media fascination with trans lives and interrogates the controversial biotechnology of HRT. Responding to experiences with trans people in Brazil, Sulawesi, Turtle Island and the UK – this theatre film is about confronting the challenges of modern trans existence, whilst listening to our ancestors and preparing the way for future generations.
